I can’t install the app
POTEs! is in beta: it doesn’t install from the App Store or Google Play like a published app. The Beta page explains what to do on each phone.
My invitation link doesn’t work
Invitation links expire, and the person who created one can revoke it. Just ask them to send you a new one — it’s instant.
I’m not getting notifications
Check that POTEs! is allowed to send them in your phone’s settings. On Android, an app force-stopped by the system receives nothing until you open it again.
My location isn’t showing
POTEs! only shares your location for the length of time you choose, and only with the people on that plan. After that, sharing stops on its own.
My plans aren’t on my other phone
Sign in to the same account on both devices. Without an account POTEs! still works — but everything stays on the phone where you created it.
