Delete my account

You can ask for your POTEs! account to be deleted at any time, without having to explain yourself.

This page describes the procedure as it will be. The contact address and the erasure timeframe must be filled in before the public beta opens — both app stores require it.

How to do it

The app doesn’t offer a delete button yet: it’s in beta, and that feature is coming. In the meantime, write to us from the address linked to your account and ask for it to be deleted.

What is deleted

Your account and profile — first name, avatar, preferences.
Your spots, your location shares and your tickets.
The notification identifier of your devices.
Your membership of your groups and plans.

What may remain

Messages you sent in a group conversation also belong to that conversation: erasing them would rewrite everyone else’s history. They are detached from your identity. Photos other people added to a plan belong to them and stay.

How long it takes

To be completed before publication: erasure timeframe, and any legal retention obligations.
